A Summer of Help in India and Nepal

Photography student Jesse Sutton '13 travels to Indian and Nepalese orphanages this summer to help those in need.
Freshman PNCA photography student Jesse Sutton ’13 travels to Northern India and Western Nepal this summer to volunteer at orphanages with critical occupancy. Sutton felt spurred to work with Indian and Nepalese orphanges after learning about the thousands of children who are kidnapped and sold into servitude and prostitution only to be shunned by their families if and when they attempt to return to their villages. Sutton and a colleague will serve as teachers at local schools that educate these children and will also assist with the construction of housing facilities. They will blog about the experience and accept donations to contribute to the communities they are serving during their travels.
