Pacific Northwest College of Art and Museum of Contemporary Craft Finalize Joint Agreement

PNCA and MoCC finalize joint operating partnership.
PNCA recently finalized agreements with Museum of Contemporary Craft (MoCC) to put the college in legal control of the Museum. D.K. Row of The Oregonian writes:
“The plan, according to officials at both institutions at the time, was to first stabilize the museum’s finances and eventually integrate museum staff and facilities. Aside from saving a crucial Oregon arts institution, the strategic gamble could give the ambitious college — which has transformed from sleepy academic village into a bustling town hall of ideas during the past several years — an indispensable resource: a museum with a 1,000-piece collection and exhibition space, providing its students daily and meaningful museum encounters.”
