PNCA’s Student Scholarships

Profiling four student scholarship recipients.

Two of PNCA’s most prestigious scholarships are the Ed Cauduro Endowed Scholarship at the Oregon Community Foundation and The Dorothy Lemelson Scholarship, each of which fully support four students throughout their four years of study at PNCA. The video below, which screened at last year’s benefit art auction auction at The Nines Hotel, introduces a few of those students – including Adriana Vawdrey ’12, Darja Bajagić ’12, Kaila Farrell-Smith ’04, and Gary Wiseman ’14 – who talk about what the scholarships mean to them. And it gives a little glimpse into donors’ thoughts on the power of giving.

More than 95% of PNCA students receive some sort of financial aid or scholarships. Last year, PNCA dispersed 1,057 scholarships totaling more than $4.8 million dollars. Each year, PNCA hosts a benefit art auction to raise money for student scholarships. Last year, PNCA raised more than $100,000 in support of student scholarships.
