Alumna's work is "harnessing a dark force" at Room East on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.

Darja Bajagić ‘12 is exhibiting at Room East on the Lower East Side of Manhattan and has received a rave review from art critic, Jerry Saltz, writing, “Hands down, the most promising young artist I saw last Sunday was 25-year-old Darja Bajagić…” Bajagić exhibits works you cannot look away from containing a dark side sprinkled with fetishism and feminism. One work called, “Evil,” is a UV print on aluminum measuring 50 × 35 x .25 inches, and shows a horned woman juggling flames with a skull on her shoulder and the word, “evil” written below. Bajagić is a recent MFA graduate from Yale University, and currently living and working in New York. In the future, Bajagić will be exhibiting at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, Poland.
