PNCA Alumni at New York Art Book Fair
Expect to see works by a number of alumni, especially those from the MFA in Visual Studies, at Printed Matter's New York Art Book Fair
Printed Matter’s New York Art Book Fair opens tomorrow at MoMA PS1, and a number of PNCA alumni, many from PNCA’s MFA in Visual Studies program, will be represented by a handful of art publishing houses.
MFA in Visual Studies alum, Sean Joseph Patrick Carney ’11 with his Social Malpractice Publishing imprint, is a veteran of the fair. He’ll be on hand with a reissue of Sweet Tooth by Michael Welsh MFA ’11, Easy Critique Cards, a collaboration between Carney and Edward Trover MFA ’13, 4chan Saves Lives/Suicide Comics, a split zine with work by Thomas J Gamble MFA ’14 and Travis Nikolai MFA MFA ’14, Girlfriend Tape by Sydney S. Kim MFA ’11 and UFO’s and Their Spiritual Mission by Daniel J. Glendening MFA ’11, among others.
Aidan Koch’s ’09 Impressions, her third graphic novel, will be launched by Peradam at the Fair.
