Crafted in Carhartt features MFA AC+D

MFA AC+D featured twice in Crafted in Carhartt’s 20 Bad Ass Girl Power Moments of 2014.
MFA Applied Craft and Design (ACD) featuring alumna and student in Crafted in Carhartt’s 20 Bad Ass Girl Power Moments of 2014. Ximena Bedoya ‘14 shows her fascination with the transformative nature of plastics by giving a demo. Bedoya uses a heat gun to alter the plastic into various shapes and resembles the actions taken in a science experiment. Bukola Koiki ‘15 is also featured in her studio showing the Japanese papermaking process, Momigami, which entails kneading and stretching the paper in a particular fashion that is also using olive oil to loosen the fibers. Each of these artists have earned the Bad Ass Girl Power Moment. Here’s to creating more moments such as these.
