Michael Curry’s work struts its stuff at Super Bowl

Alumnus, Michael Curry, creates a larger than life lion for Katy Perry to debut her opening act at the Super Bowl.
If you were watching the Super Bowl, you may have seen Katy Perry riding a huge metallic lion for her song, Roar. This larger than life structure was created by alumnus, Michael Curry, of Michael Curry Design in Scapoose, Oregon. The lion graced the Super Bowl arena with Katy Perry belting out lyrics, with incognito human powered legs moving beneath. Curry has a long list of clients including Disney and Universal Studios as well as designing Russian puppets for the Olympics. This project in particular was kept a secret until the day of the Super Bowl.
