2011 Commencement Address

PNCA President Tom Manley and commencement speaker Julia Fish ’76 address the graduating class of 2011.

Pacific Northwest College of Art recognized 123 graduates from BFA, MFA in Visual Studies and MFA in Applied Craft and Design at the 2011 Commencement Ceremony at the Tiffany Center. Tom Manley kicked off the ceremonies with his address, “Culture Makers and Builders of a Handmade Life.”

Julia Fish ’76, Visual Artist and Professor, School of Art and Design, College of Architecture and the Arts, University of Illinois at Chicago, delivered the Commencement Address.

PNCA awarded Doctor of Art Honoris Causa degrees to three long-time friends of the College at this year’s commencement ceremony: Al Solheim, the late Harold Schnitzer and his wife, Arlene Schnitzer.
